The 2030 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. To mark the 100th anniversary of the tournament, the opening centenary celebration matches will take place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay.
Tournament Breakdown
- Main Hosts: Morocco, Portugal, and Spain will host the vast majority of the tournament's 104 games. This will mark the first time the Men's World Cup is hosted across three continents and the first time in North Africa.
- Centenary Matches: In honor of the first-ever World Cup held in 1930, one opening match each will be hosted in Montevideo (Uruguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), and Asunción (Paraguay).
