Who can be invited?
Typically, first-degree relatives such as:
- Spouse (husband or wife)
- Children
- Parents
The sponsor must usually hold a valid work Iqama (residency permit).
Required Documents
- Valid passport of the visitor
- Copy of the sponsor's Iqama
- Proof of relationship (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Medical insurance

How to Apply
- Submit a Family Visit Request through the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) portal.
- Complete the application with visitor details exactly as shown on the passport.
- Obtain employer or Chamber of Commerce attestation if required.
- Wait for MOFA approval.
- After approval, the visitor completes embassy/consulate procedures and receives the visa.
